SiLab films deliver the world's best technical training in the world's easiest to use format (DVD). These incredible videos provide exactly the kind of information engineers love to watch.
Each video in the Signal Integrity Lab series runs approximately 30-40 minutes. Most programs contain introductory remarks by Dr. Johnson, a live demonstration of some technical topic relevant to high-speed digital engineering, and a wrap-up section. Some programs include interviews with other authorities and off-site visits to manufacturing and test facilities. Every program leaves the viewer with a clear understanding of some issue essential to high-speed performance.
How to use the films
Show them to your colleagues. Some companies arrange regular meetings for their high-speed digital designers. At each meeting, they have little lecture, a little pizza, and a little social time together. That is a great way to encourage mentoring relationships within your organization.
The SiLab DVDs are designed to facilitate such a process. In a 1-hour timeslot you can introduce a film, play it, and get some discussion going.
The films come packaged into groups of three on each DVD volume. If you get all three volumes, that makes nine meetings worth of presentation material.
