As part of today's panel discussion I'd like to throw
out a few quick thoughts about high-speed serial links.
In coming up with this presentation I was inspired by a
fable. It's the story of a contest of speed between a quick but feckless
rabbit (the hare) and more slowly-moving, but very determined, tortoise.
What that has to do with the title of this presentation
you will see a little later.
